common questions

about our treatment programs

Both are FDA-approved medications for opioid use disorder, but they work differently. Methadone is a full opioid agonist that requires daily clinic visits initially, with take-home doses earned over time. Suboxone (buprenorphine) is a partial agonist with lower misuse potential and typically requires fewer clinic visits. During your intake, we’ll help you determine which medication is best for your lifestyle and recovery needs.
